This is the 14th street Pier in Ocean City New Jersey during a trip to photograph NJ piers with Darren Landis back on 8-12-2012. The pier is 635 feet long, extending from the Ocean City boardwalk out into the Atlantic Ocean. The Ocean City Fishing Club, which owns the pier, is the oldest fishing club in the United States. There is a live webcam that during the daylight shows the pier available here: http://attheshore.com/livecam-fishing-pier
Shot with the Nikon D7000 and Sigma 10-20mm lens @ 18mm. Manual exposure mode, F14, 25 seconds shutter speed, ISO 100, spot metering with B+W brand 10 stop neutral density filter on front of lens to allow the long exposure during daylight. Camera on tripod. Shutter triggered with Nikon infrared remote. Manual focus. Processed in Photoshop CS5. I used DxO FilmPack 3 to add the Kodak Portra 160VC film emulated look.
