A look down one of the cell blocks at Eastern State Penitentiary. This particular block hasn't been renovated or made safe for the public and gives you the feel of the abandoned state the prison sat in for decades after it closed. Shot on Sunday 11-18-2012. For more information on visiting the historic prison, see their web site at: EasternState.org.
Shot with the Nikon D7000 and Sigma 10-20mm lens @ 12mm. Aperture priority mode F18, ISO 100, spot metering, exposure bracketed for one set of three frames with 2 stop variance (-2, 0, +2 EV range). Camera was tripod mounted and shutter triggered with Nikon infrared remote. Tone map post processing and B&W conversion of the exposure brackets done with NIK HDR Efex Pro 2. Further processing done in Photoshop CS5.
