This is an old one-room schoolhouse in Perry Township, Berks County, PA. The farmer who currently owns it uses the property to store many of his farm implements and tractors. When school consolidation swept the state around 1953, many of these now closed one-room schools were sold at auction or returned to the farm families that originally donated the land for the schools to be built originally.
