Mansion at Batsto Village

Batsto Village is like a snapshot of time from our past where a small farming and industrial complex demonstrates what life was like in the 1700s and 1800s.  It has cottages, a mansion, blacksmith shop, grist mill, general store, iron furnace, glass works, ice house and a lake with a dam, all very picture worthy.  It's a nice place to spend a couple of hours photographing or to take the family.   For more information on visiting Batsto Village, see their web site: http://www.batstovillage.org

Shot this back on 6-30-2012 with the Nikon D7000 and Nikon 28-70mm F2.8 AFS lens @ 28mm.  Aperture priority mode F16, ISO 100, spot metering, exposure bracketed for one set of three frames with 2 stop variance (-2, 0, +2 EV range).  Camera was tripod mounted and shutter triggered with Nikon infrared remote.  Tone map post processing of the exposure brackets done with NIK HDR Efex Pro 2.  Further processing done in Photoshop CS5
