This is a dock off of Cliff City Rd in Chestertown in the Eastern Shore section of Maryland. It's referred to as "Earle Landing". The section of water is known as "Cliffs Bight". It feeds into the Chesapeake Bay. Taken on Saturday, 4-6-2013.
I shot this with the Nikon D7000 and Nikon 28-70mm F2.8 FS lens @ 34mm. Manual exposure mode, F22, 60 second exposure (bulb mode), ISO 100, tripod mounted with shutter triggered with Nikon infrared remote. B+W brand 10 stop neutral density filter (ND110 77mm) placed on the lens to give the one minute exposure in bright sunlight. I probably could have stacked an additional six stop ND filter on there to give me the effect I really wanted but I decided to go back at a later date and try this one again when we had less light to fight and I might be able to get a long exposure.
