The view from the top observation deck on the GE Building/Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, looking towards midtown and the Empire State building and the neighborhoods of NOHO, SOHO, Chinatown, Little Italy and Wall Street and the financial district further downtown.
Shot handheld with the Nikon D7000 and Sigma 10-20mm lens @ 10mm. Aperture priority mode F18, ISO 100, center-weighted metering, exposure bracketed for one set of three frames with 1 stop variance (-1, 0, +1 EV range). Tone map post processing of the exposure brackets done with NIK HDR Efex Pro 2. Post processed in Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS5 and NIK Silver Efex Pro 2 for the black and white conversion. It's shots like this make me really wish I owned a medium format Hasselblad or Mamiya RZ67.
