An afternoon well spent

I got a late start on my vacation day of shooting but arrived at Valley Forge National Historic Park in time to shoot a dozen sheets of 4x5 film through the DIY pinhole camera before the light got too bad.  Lots of trudging through the snow and ice covered fields to locate adequate angles to shoot some big, interesting trees I had always wanted to single out against a nice white background of snow.  Now off to the darkroom to develop a bunch of X-Ray and Arista EDU 100 film...

Before I left for fo Valley Forge, I took a photo of the latest updates to the 4x5 pinhole camera which include an improved handle and brass corner trim on the front and a slight bend in the shutter door to make it easier to grab when it is in the open position.
