Martinsburg, WV Roundhouse

The roundhouse and railroad shops of the former Baltimore and Ohio (B&O) Railroad Company in Martinsburg, West Virginia.  This is the surviving building of a pair of roundhouses that once stood at the location. The structure consists of bricks over a cast iron frame and was built in 1866.  The location is also historically significant as it was also the site of the first national labor strike in 1877.
