Added to the National Wildlife Refuge System in 1960, the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge is located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey and encompasses over 7,800 acres of varying terrain including forest, grassland and swamp. The boardwalk trail system allows visitors to go deep into the various different parts of the swamp and forest and to experience wildlife, especially birds, in many varieties.

Negative scanned with Epson 4990 on holders fitted with ANR glass.
Resulting image cropped to 16:9 aspect ratio to match the intended composition.
